We are proud to announce that Eltronic Wind Solutions is taking part in an offshore wind industry project on creating common industry standards that will help to decrease the prices of wind energy. The cooperation will try to solve the challenge of wind turbine manufacturers making different demands on their subcontractors, and thus increasing the costs of equipment that serve the same purpose.

Eltronic Wind Solution will be working on creating a standardized transport equipment for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and MHI Vestas Offshore Wind. The solution will be designated for transporting of tower sections onshore from the factory to the pre-assembly site on the harbor. The project is managed by Offshoreenergy.dk and the name of the project is “Innovative cooperation in the wind cluster”

The Wind Partnership will gather the industry on common standards in a number of areas, and with support from Vestas, MHI Vestas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Offshoreenergy.dk will now be able to run innovation cooperation across the entire value chain. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and MHI Vestas are the producers behind 75 percent of world wind turbines. The cooperation between the big players therefore has enormous importance for both the individual companies and the wind industry as a whole.
